Blood Sweat & Tears: And When I Die 1969 Columbia 4-4508 Terre Haute Press VG+

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Blood, Sweat & Tears titled "And When I Die b/w Sometimes In Winter", originally released in 1969 by Columbia Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The archival inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. In the dead wax, between the labels and the side's ending, is etched an upper case "T1", followed by the matrix numbers 1-C/1-D, indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines. I'm play grading this record as Excellent because of occasional low levels of surface noise, but never over-powering the vocals or music. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finnish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially an original Terre Haute pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
