Description: Robert Bob Neale. (1914-1994). Top Flying Tiger ace with the American Volunteer Group (AVG), amassing 13 victories. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1938. He became an aviator, receiving his wings in 1939, and was a dive-bomber pilot on the aircraft USS Saratoga. He joined the AVG of the Chinese Air Force in June, 1941. 10x8 black and white photo of Neale standing in front of his Curtiss P-40 plane, signed in blue felt pen. In very good condition.
