Description: DIXIE PREMIUM - 8 x 10 Color with Star in Action Scenes on back - 1944 - BOB STEELE. This series was produced in 1944 during WW2. Dixie premiums were produced yearly in sets of 24 different stars from 1935 to 1953. They usually were printed on card stock - but - during two of the WW2 years they were printed on THIN PAPER due to the paper ration & shortage. The series during 1944 and 1945 are RARE!
