By helping to absorb the shock it can assist in avoiding false knock retard and the performance loss that comes along with it. It installs with zero permanent modifications and can be returned to stock in minutes. It comes with a stainless steel eyebolt that replaces your stock ALT mount bolt along with SS nuts and SS washers. Nothing to rust or corrode here. For a show car the eye bolt can be polished to a show quality shine if you have an engine compartment with lots of chrome! The lower end of the strap hooked into an existing hole in the frame, nothing to drill, and total installation takes just a few minutes. With my shipping, you only pay once.
