Description: DESCRIPTION – c.1900 Korona II 4x5 dry plate camera by Gundlach Manhattan. Will make a very nice display with the burgundy bellows and clean exterior. Has a 13 inch lens in the Gundlach shutter. Has a reversible back. CONDITION – For Display. Camera opens and closes smoothly. Missing the front bed release (use a paper clip). Shutter fires, but shutter leaves stick partially open. Lens has some dust and spots. Bellows looks very clean – due to age, assume some pinhole light leaks present. Focus smooth. Finder dim due to mirror deterioration. Ground glass has marks. Rear ground glass door cover separating at top leather hinge.
