Description: Campagnolo part number 679/A plastic dustcap pair for Campagnolo Nuovo Record Super Record Superleggero and Gran Sport pedals. You get one pair - enough for a bike. We think these are proper original production, but we're actually not sure. We bought out a shop's inventory and these lovely caps were in there stock. But some (certainly not all) of the plastic pedal dustcaps out there are really high quality reproductions. In fact, some of those are made with what we believe is actual Campagnolo tooling. The tell may be when looking at the inside of the cap. We see other ebay sellers selling these as original Campagnolo. And at a certain point if it's so hard to tell, does it matter? It isn't like the 50th anniversary repro caps that look quite a bit different. This item is perfect for that old Cinelli, Masi, Hetchins, Reynolds 531 or Columbus SL bicycle that you have. This item will be great for that vintage lightweight bicycle that you may be displaying at Classic Bicycles Auburn in June 2024 in Auburn Indiana at the famous Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum The fine print: It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine if an item purchased from us is safe for use. We "failed retirement" and once again are in the vintage bicycle parts business. Note that while we failed retirement, we do plan to keep the business somewhat low key. For now, we only ship orders on Wednesday of each week. We will adjust the epected shipping times accordingly. So order on the weekend and shipping is fast, order Wednesday night or later, and the order won't ship until the following Wednesday. We are tempted to change our business name to "Wednesday Vintage Bicycle Parts" but for now we'll stick with Boulder Bicycle.
