Description: Cartier Vintage 18K Yellow Gold Tank AméricaineClassic Watch - Ref 811904 Out of my own collection comes this beautiful watch. in 1989 Cartier New York redesigned the classic Tank watch. The new Tank Américaine featured an elongated convex case that curves around the wrist. This watch was only made in precious metals and is a pleasure to wear due to its wrist-hugging design. The Ref. 811904 is a midsize Tank Américaine with a Quartz Movement. With its 23.5 x 41 mm dimensions it's perfect for Gentlemen as well as Ladies. The watch has an ivory dial with Cartier's classic painted black Roman numerals and closed minute track, a tiny date window at the 3 o'clock position, and and old school decentralized seconds hand situated in a recessed sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The watch features blued steel hands and a blue faceted sapphire stone on top of the crown. The watch case has a screw-in back. The 18k yellow-gold case is in excellent condition, as shown in the pictures, and comes on an elegant 16 cm hand made brown lizard leather strap, which gives it a total lengths, including the watch case, of 21.5cm fitting a 7 1/2" wrist comfortable. The watch is in like new conditions and in fine working order. A new Battery was inserted by a licened watchmaker in August of this year. I do not have the original case or paperwork. I guarantee the authenticity of the watch as I bought it myself years and years ago for my own collection, which I'm now dissolving.
