For example, the crown was partially hidden and used a twin-seal system. In order to increase robustness, the movement fixation was additionally strengthened by extra-strong screws. The floating movement assembly by means of a rubber ring was taken from its predecessor. These tonneau-shaped cases shared the turtleback feature and some further innovations. The crown is partially guarded by being set within the flow of the case flank, and it is secured with a twin seal. The Certina DS-2 came with solid, over-engineered in-house movement.
