Description: This Old Sleepy eye is one of the finer examples glazing and clay forming among the similar mugs I have seen. The blue glaze and dark accents are combined with deeper clay texture than the other examples I’ve seen recently. The reliefs on this mug were done by an artist with better than average talent - based on this piece. The trees have so much more detail than some of mugs where the trees are hardly more than a circle with a cross through it. I’m happy to provide more photos if you would like. There is a very small chip on the base under the teepee. Barely noticeable when sitting on the base. There are also two naturally formed cracks from the firing which are plainly visible in the photographs.
