We have not fired this lantern. THE GLASS IS A GREEN RISING SUN, THE FOUNT IS NICE ALTHOUGH IT HAS A COUPLE OF NICKS OR VERY SMALL DINGS. THE VENT COVER HAS NO CHIPS. IT SHOWS QUITE WELL.
