Cool MCM 1957 Bulova Clock Radio D-100 Now New Clock & Bluetooth Speaker

Description: This is a 1957 Bulova clock radio model D-100 made in Canada. This is one of the coolest clock radios I have seen. Great mid century lines & colors. Nothing worked so I removed the broken clock & all of the radio components to make room for some new electronics saving both the dial and cover. The case of chocolate brown bakelite with white clock face & gold mesh speaker cover is elegant. It was in good condition just requiring cleaning & polishing. Look at the room reflection in the pics. Nice look. Cleaned the clock face & cover adding a new battery operated quartz works reusing the original clock face with new hands. Attached the original clock knobs. Please look at the pics. Really like the contrast of the brown, white and gold. On the inside, I installed a new Bluetooth digital stereo hi-fi audio amplifier with 50 watts in addition to a big 4" Pro multi range speaker. Yes this classic is now a real boom box. This thing sounds great. Installed the on/off/volume switch with the knob on the left. All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to the inner supports to insure a long life. This is one of a kind Bluetooth speaker with an operating clock that is MCM cool. A real conversation piece that makes a grand statement. There is a new electrical plug also. I reused the original back panel that you can remove to change the clock time or replace the AA battery. Real easy. Just pull out the 2 pins at each upper corner. The 1957 Bulova mid century clock radio converted to Bluetooth speaker measures a small 12.5" x 6" x 6" .Will look good, sound great and fit anywhere. Let know if you have any questions.
