Description: This auction is for a single (1) Def Tech 17mm/6.5” mid woofer, more than 1 available. These are new as sold by Def Tech but do have some light marks & dust due to storage for years or possibly were mounted in speakers that the cabinets were damaged or defective but were sold as new replacements. Part# 0918 A100, they were sold by Def Tech many years ago as replacements for BP10, BP20 and CLR1000, plus any other models that use the 6 ohm 17mm mid woofers. The complete Def Tech speakers are usually rated at 6-8 ohm as a whole, but this 5.5 - 6 ohm is the reading of just the woofer unhooked from the speakers. They measure 5.6-5.8 ohm on my meter, same as the woofers in my BP10B & CLR1000. They are the newer style "Definitive" stamped frame woofers used in the “B” models of this era but should be the same specs as the earlier Vifa made woofers. These are video shielded style woofers but same specs as the non shielded woofers. Please verify your application before bidding.
