Description: Department 56 – Dickens’ Village Series “Brick Abbey” Introduced in 1987 – Retired in 1989 Item #6549-8 This particular MINT piece of the "Brick Abbey" Collection is more valuable because the spires are straight as compared to other firings where they leaning in toward the center giving a look of the roof caving in. This is an important fact to the serious collector as it shows the strength of the structure. Two spires flank front dors, rose window above entry oak doors.
