Description: DATING TO THE 1960’S BY DESIGNER NORMAN NORELL FASHIONED OF A CHECKERBOARD WHITE SILK SATIN. SELF COVERED BUTTONS CLOSE THE FRONT WITH HOOKS AT THE BELTING AND COMES WITH ITS MATCHING SILK COVERED BELT. ALSO COMES WITH A MATCHING LONG SCARF. THE SLEEVES HAVE A BAND CUFF THAT CLOSES WITH TWO BUTTONS AT THE BOTTOM SLEEVE. SKIRTING FALLS LONG AND THE INTERIOR IS BACKED IN A SHEER SILK ORGANZA. CONDITION: THERE ARE TWO VERY FAINT BROWN STAINS AS PICTURED ON THE SIDE SKIRTING. I PERSONALLY WOULD HAVE THIS PIECE DRY CLEANED. THE BELT IS STIFF AND THE BUCKLE SHOWS MINOR SOILING AND WEAR TO THE EDGE, CAN BE WORN WITHOUT AS THE BELTING IS FINISHED ON THE DRESS. I SUSPECT THAT THE SCARF WAS ORGINALLY ATTACHED TO THE NECKLINE, COULD BE RE-ATTACHED IF DESIRED. THE INNER BOTTOM HEM NEEDS SEVERAL POINTS TACKED BACK UP. THE DRESS HAS A VERY PRISTINE APPEARANCE WITH NO FRAYS, BREAKS, OR WEAR.
