Description: Dugan-Diamond Antique Summer Days Carnival Glass Vase/Punch Bowl Base, Marigold Pretty carnival glass by Dugan with a dual purpose - can be used as a vase or as the base for the Stork & Rushes punch bowl. Bright orange marigold iridescence blends from a darker shade to light. Classic era carnival glass, produced about 1915-1922. Hard to find piece.Condition: A few shallow flakes and roughness to the underside edge of the base that are mostly on the underside when used as a vase, and one nick to the outer base edge that would be hidden as well when used as a punch bowl base. No other chips, cracks or repairs. Some tiny factory tool marks on the inside of the rim. The finish is in excellent condition with no noticeable wear. Marks: Unmarked. Dimensions: 6" high, 4 7/8" wide, 3 3/8" base of vase (or top of stand).Color Note: Some pictures are taken with a black background to highlight how the color of the iridescence of carnival glass can change in appearance depending on background color. Both the white and black background photos were taken under the same lighting, only the background color was changed.
