Description: Offered for your consideration is a large frosted glass bowl made by Adams and Company (1861-1891) in their "Hidalgo" pattern. Also known as Frosted Waffle, this pattern dates to 1887. The glass bowl measures 9 inches (22.9 cm) long per side and a full 12 inches (30.5 cm) between opposite corners, and is 4 inches (10.2 cm) tall. The frosted glass bowl is in very good used condition with no cracks, chips, nor roughness. There is minor wear in places on the frosted surface, and light surface scratches inside bowl. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There are bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and there may be other minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time.
