Description: early 1900s French Rococo moreau style lamp cherub Spelter metal patinated bronze tone Lamp Hubbell . Stands at 21"H with the glass flame shade. The base is very French and likely where this is from. No maker's mark but is in the Moreau style vibe. It is colored to look like bronze but is spelter metal I believe. NOTE: PLEASE READ. The cord in this was frayed and unsafe cloth with old style plug. Took it out to rewire. I finally found wire needed. Even added a period cloth cord as well as a dimmer. Allowing you to adjust to preference. Very structurally sound. Great classic timeless look. The bulb socket is marked Hubbell. Has the acorn chain pull. This socket was with this cherub when found. Only thing new is the shade. Something I had. Seems appropriate.
