Description: For sale is a Vintage Chinese YiXing / Zisha Clay Teapot 马建林 This is a fine 20th century hand made brown YiXing / Zisha clay teapot by master Ma Jianlin 马建林 made in China. The teapot fully hand made and decorated with hand carved bamboo branches and calligraphy texts. The bottom and interior also decorated with carved calligraphy texts. The interior shows brush marks and has 9 hole strainer. Ma Jianlin, born in 1967 in the pottery capital of Yixing, has been passionate about purple sand pottery since childhood. He has been engaged in purple sand hand-drawing in 1997. Marked to the bottom, handle and under the lid with with maker's chop mark seals for 马建林. In excellent condition! No chips or cracks. Inside looks clean as if barely or never used. Measurements: 8.4cm high x 15.5 cm from handle to spout x 11 cm diameter. Capacity approximately 300-325ml. Shipping worldwide cost $27.
