He's got his bayonet, in scabbard, underneath his haversack. He's got a tin cup attached to the strap on his haversack. His canteen is rather small and it has no protective cover on it; just shiny silver. He's wearing a blanket roll identical in color to his forage cap. He's got on a medium size frame buckle, a very common belt plate that was nearly indestructible. His percussion cap box is on his right-front attached to his belt. He's repaired a tear to his brown pants using a dark-brown patch.
