FLOCKED SATIN Vintage 1930s 40s Long Sleeve EVENING GOWN WEDDING BRIDAL DRESS

Description: Old Hollywood Glamour! Gorgeous vintage 1930s / early 1940s evening gown or bridal dress made of a candleglow satin with a flocked/raised geometric floral pattern (the fabric is stunning). The dress has long sleeves with puffed shoulders & pointed cuffs, a tailored bust with a twist accent, inverted V waist, rear looped button closure and a floorlength skirt flowing to a small rear train (there is a finger loop inside the skirt). The dress is unlined. Amazing worn at any event, this would be unforgettable for a bride. MEASUREMENTS: Most likely custom made, there are no labels ... the shoulders - from seam to seam - measure 14 inches across, bust measures 34 inches ( therefore bust best fits a size 32), empire waist measures 27 inches, natural waist measures 30 inches and the hips measure 48. The gown is 58 inches in length with an additional 30 inches at the back. CONDITION: Very slight wear ... almost a century old, it came directly out of a cedar trunk where it has been properly stored for decades and is beautifully preserved... overall, excellent condition.
