Description: Hand Carved Wood Santa holding wooden bear. Very intricate detail from his beard, robe, carved teddy bear, and ESPECIALLY The Eye area. Deep set eyes actually has eyebrows and eyelashes! Pointed head, mustache, gloved hands, and black boots. SIGNED by BEARDSLEY. After doing some research, I found a Tom Beardsley who was a woodcarver specializing in animals. I can’t be sure. Found this at an antique store on a trip to Pennsylvania some years ago. 9 inches Tall by 4 inches wide. I recently inherited a ton of Christmas items from my family and need to make some room.
