Horace Brodzky, 1885-1969, was a student at the School of the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, but spent most of his creative life in London. He was one of the earliest Australian artists to embrace the modern style of the twentieth century. Original buff cloth with initials on upper cover and spine lettered in brown. Grey dust-jacket lettered in maroon, torn in two with edgewear and some loss to spine and lower and upper cover.
