Frame: The hand carved wooden frame was custom created specifically for this particular painting, including the yellow velvet matting that surrounds the painting. Wooden frame measures 13 “ x 11 with a 7 1/2" x 5 1/2” image. Professionally framed. Image not examined out of frame. Creation of Enamels:Thin coats of finely powdered colored glass are hand-applied to copper, then fused to the metal in 1,500 degree heat. Each image is carefully painted and fired at least 5 separate times, enabling it to glow with crystalline translucence and depth.
