It is signed on the bottom "The Glass Eye MSH 1984." This paperweight was created with ash from Mount St. Helens eruption with a light lavender swirled celestial planet in the center (which is much lighter than appears in my pictures). Or could be a jelly fish - this studio is known for its jelly fish designs. Dichroic art glass with strands of purple and white seaweed making an arch over the center, and the outside is iridescent. Approximate measurements are 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Hand crafted contemporary design by professional artisans of the studio. Clear glass with purple, white and lavender. Excellent condition. The price is half of what the studio charges for their paperweights. Postage $8.50.
