Description: Great set 6 Herend Porcelain Market Garden Teacups and SaucersPresented is a lovely set of 6 Herend porcelain cups and saucers. These cups and saucers are made in the classic Market Garden pattern, which features finely handpainted decoration in the form of colorful fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and flowers. The saucers are all numbered either 1718 or 1725, though they are identical in size and shape between the two numbers. The 1718 design incorporates additional small flowers around the saucers' surfaces, but is visually still very similar. Four of the saucers are numbered 1718, as well as the free extra saucer we are including, while the remaining two are numbered 1725. All of the cups except the slightly shorter one are numbered 1725, while the shorter cup is numbered 1726. This pattern matches very closely with Herend pattern Rothschild Fruits Necker. The two patterns are nearly indistinguishable. This set of cups and saucers is in great overall condition. The painted decoration and the gilding on the rims is in great shape, with only very minor wear on the paint here and there. One of the cups is a slightly smaller size, but only by 1/8 of an inch, which doesn't seem like it would be noticeable as part of a table setting at all. Please note we are including an additional saucer in the 1718 design, which has more noticeable wear to the painted decoration and gilding, but is still entirely useable. If you don't want us to include this extra free saucer, let us know and we will not ship it. Each saucer is signed on the underside with the Herend mark in underglaze blue, as well as either 1718, 1725, or 1726. Each saucer measures about 6 ¼ inches in diameter.
