Description: Very nice HAMILTON 18S 21 Jewels, 940, motor barrel, safety pinion, double roller, adjusted 5 positions. The movement shows some modest damaskeening, is clean, and is running well, serial #920842 puts it at 1911/12. The case is nickel, polished, Model 1, with an embossed figure of a deer/elk on the back and is in very nice condition, it's marked ILLINOIS WATCH CASE CO. NICKEL and stamped 1851, it doesn't show signs of much use. The dial is very nice and bright, it does have two hairline cracks, one between 7/8 and one just under 10, they're not obvious, severe cracks with a separation and are very clean (see photos), the hands are nice, the crystal is excellent, no problems, it does have some very minor chipping on the inside, lower edge of the crystal that is covered by the bezel, one tiny, tiny speck on the bevel outside, nearest the bezel frame, I think you get a reflection from the bezel but straight on you don't see it, overall not really that noticeable. Overall, a very nice, big, railroad watch. All information is based on my non-professional observations and info I got when I acquired the watch.
