There are patterns for crochet, tatting, drawnwork, articles in wool (look like crochet and knitting), embroidery, cross-stitch, teneriffe and Maltese work. There are 64 pages in this 8.0x10.75 book; 4 pages show light age browning from old (1916 and 192?)newspaper clippings still in-place in the book, they too are patterns with photo. Good-size white on black photos of all patterns in book. Pages have turned medium-brown from age (still quite light for age). Pages with only slight soil and tight at 2 rusty staples at binding. Front cover has piece missing at spine heel, see photo, quite a bit of age browning along edges, tips with light wear and tiny creasing. Short split at both spine ends and covers are not stable at staples, holding but weak, spine itself is worn and a bit rough. Owner name in pencil top of front cover. Back cover quite mottled with age browning along spine, 2 creases midway on back cover's front edge with 2" tear between creases; crease and small gouge at top tip, front edge of back cover is a bit rough. Small round sticker from perhaps a yarn ball has been placed at bottom margin of back cover, it reads "Made in Great Britain 7/10 oz." Patterns include: cuff/collars, child's bonnets, doilies, edgings, party bag, yoke for corset cover, pillowslips, slumber shoes, just to name a few in this wonderful old book, over 100 years old!!
