Description: First edition bound by Hatchards in half crushed morocco and cloth-covered boards, spine with five raised bands, gilt title, and gilt detailing to compartments. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Externally sound and firm with a little wear to extremities, leather generally fading to brown, particularly to spine. Marbled endpapers with binder's stamped signature to top corner verso of ffep. Text-block remains firm, pages a little age-toned with scattered foxing and other minor blemishes.
