Description: Thick leather belt with a crowned eagle and cross heraldic insignia buckle from Helmut Lang’s Spring/Summer 1993 collection. In true Helmut fashion, the design comes directly from that of belts worn by the Spanish Civil Guard throughout the early 20th century. The belt is meant to sit loose on the waist and measures 93cm total, roughly 91.5cm (36”) clasped. Good condition, some minor marks on the leather which could probably be carefully cleaned. Last photo is of an original Guardia belt.
