HO Scale United Scale Models Brass 0-6-0 Omaha Steam Locomotive

Description: This listing is for a United Scale Models "Pacific Fast Mail" 0-6-0 Omaha Brass Steam locomotive. The motor inside the engine runs very well and looks to be an upgrade from the motor this originally came with. There is no Light installed as was common for these. Upon placing the engine on the track, it did not want to move unless the engine was tilted upward. It appears to be shorting out somewhere along the drawbar. The electrical situation on this engine is very.. shoddy. This locomotive does need some attention electrically. The video included is of me running the engine on the test bench hooked up directly to the motor and it runs very smoothly. The gearing allows for extremely slow & precise speeds. (The clicking and crunching you hear in the video is of me turning the power on my controller up and down.) But overall, everything else is in good condition. There's oil & grease in the drivetrain and driving rods, the paint work is old and worn but that just adds to its charm.
