Marbled endpapers and edges. There is a hand-written prize inscription in the front; the book was a mathematics prize won in 1891 by R. Wright. School seal on front, of King Edward's School Birmingham. 7.25" x 5". 552 pages. 680g. Condition: Victorian book, over a century old, and beautifully bound, but in not pristine condition. Scuffs and scrapes on covers, a shown, and minor splitting at the top edges where the spine joins the front and back boards. The pages are in good condition, and firmly attached. There are a few creased corners, and one or two pages have never been separated.
