It is a Hudson Bay design, could be Hudson Bay, Pendleton etc. Very nice heavy thick 4 point blanket.)Description:-This is a great find.-This blanket dates from about 1930s or 40s-100% virgin wool-The condition is good. There are a couple of tiny threadbare places which are very hard to see. Not really visible.-This blanket measures 75” wide x 88” long. -Hudson Bay Style-This is a 4 point blanket with black, yellow, red and green.-Finished with blanket stitch around top and bottom.The “point” system was invented by French weavers in the mid-18th century as a means of indicating the finished overall size (area) of a blanket. The word point derives from the French weavers, meaning “to make threaded stitches on cloth.”Please check out the photos and let me know if you have questions.The photos are an important part of the description.
