Steps to Quickly Repair a Tire Puncture Remove Foreign Object Identify the source of air leak causing flat tire or slow leak, and use the included heavy duty needle nose pliers to remove the foreign object from tire. Pro Tip: use warm, soapy water (if available) to help locate puncture hole/leak. Probe the Puncture Using the T-Handle Spiral Probe Tool, enlarge the puncture by probing the hole to remove excess debris to create a clean hole to hold the plug. Pro Tip: lather some of the included lubricant onto spiral probe tool to easily ream out the puncture. Plug the Hole Thread a repair cord through the Insert Tool needle opening, then plug the puncture to create an airtight seal. Pro Tip: you will want to leave approx. 1/2 inch of the cord sticking out from tire before pulling out the insert tool. Cut Off Excess Plug Cut off any excess repair cord to create a flat patch using the included utility knife.
