Description: This is a Stereoview of the Harding family lot in the cemetery in Marion, Ohio where President Harding's Mother and Sister were already buried taken during President Warren G. Harding’s 1923 trip to Alaska. It is from the Rare Keystone 100 card set of President Harding’s Alaska trip the cards are not numbered other than the negative numbers which are not in chronological order. This is a Rare set whose views aren’t seen for sale on eBay that often. Most cards in this set are in excellent to near mint condition. Any damage to this particular card will be listed below. This card is titled "Harding Lot in Cemetery, Marion, Ohio, Where the President's Mother and Sister Lie Buried." with a Keystone negative number of 18554. This card is in excellent to near mint condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is blank. President and Mrs. Harding left Washington, D. C. in June 1923 and visited many states including Kansas, Wyoming (Yellowstone National Park), Utah, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Alaska as President Harding delivered 18 speeches and innumerable informal talks and was the first President to visit Alaska. Perhaps due to his hectic schedule, President Harding suffered an apparent Heart Attack during this trip and died on August 23, 1923 in San Francisco, California after less than 2 ½ years in office. Please note that because of the lighting I used to photograph these cards some pictures have some glare. The Stereoviews are fine. I will be listing more Stereoviews on a regular basis, so check back for more views. Don’t miss out! Stereoviews or Stereo Cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
