Description: Vintage Kodak Portrait 305mm (12") f4.8 Ektar Lens in Ilex no. 5 Shutter Includes original 6" Deardorff found cornered Lens Board and mounting flange as well as Wollensak lens capNice vintage condition with common signs of age and respectful infrequent use. Glass looks very clean and I see no remarkable issues. Produces fabulous soft focus images. Shutter is functional and sounds correct (not bench tested) except the 1 sec and 1/2 sec settings which are slow and stick open. I always used it wide open so never had use for those speeds anyway. These are some of the best soft focus lenses ever made, in my opinion and are very sharp stopped down.Huge coverage. I have used these with an 11x14 cameraI have two lenses and am selling one of them to downsizing my equipment.
