Description: This is a rare find- it is a vintage (1930's) Kodak RETINA 35mm folding camera Anastigmat Ektar f3.5 f=5cm lens Compur rapid shutter made in Germany. ( I am throwing in another camera I know nothing about it says Argus Cintar made in USA I think it is a brick camera Argus C3 Brick 35mm Rangefinder Camera. This classic black camera is made in the United States and comes with a 50mm F3.5 Cintar lens old & dusty ) I know there was a Retina & then a Retina 1 I believe this is the first one. Comes with brown leather case (I believe this went with an older model ? it fits the camera well just not sure if it the original case? It is in excellent condition - a few loose strings on the upper sides - on the bottom it is stamped Kodak Bantam Special (inside is a burgundy velvet lining which is also very clean) Straps are intact and very nice has adjustable metal hardware to adjust the straps. Serial # is 55332K On the lens says No.- 1035731. There is also a paper that comes with it- not sure if it even goes with this camera but it was in the case.This is a little dirty I have cleaned it pretty well. This was the first year Kodak Retina came out with the chrome top plate. This is in very nice condition I acquired this and a few more old camera's from my mom that were her dad's.
