Description: Actual Weight: 6.21gm Actual Diameter: 27.76mm This button was found at a late 1800's mining camp in an area with known Chinese miners. In the immediate area (100sqft) to this find, 4 Chinese 1 Cash coins from the late 1700s were also discovered. Hence we assume this button has a similar origin. If you do a reverse image search there is one identical piece listed on another platform that claims the button is Victorian. I am not in agreement with that seller but could be wrong.
