Description: Vintage Leeds & Northrup 8686 millivolt potentiometer galvanometer with original owners manual. This device looks to be in good condition, other than slight scuffs and scratches due to age and use. All dials and knobs operate smoothly by hand. This is a battery operated unit. The battery compartments look good, no corrosion. One rubber foot is missing, see detail photo. I couldn't find the serial number on this device. If you can tell me where to look I will add the info. This device is untested, because I don't know how to test. If you have suggestions or requests I am happy to try. Made in Philadelphia, PA. 14.25" x 12" x 7.5". This listing also includes two other manuals (for other things?) that I found inside the lid. My Father purchased this item used. I believe it worked for him when used for various personal projects and experiments. If it hadn't worked, he would not have kept it.
