Description: This Leica LHSA 20th Anniversary M6 Top Plate is a very rare part for a Leica M6 rangefinder camera. The LHSA 20th Anniversary M6 was a special edition version announced in 1988. Web sources indicate 43 models were produced with this particular engraving. "LHSA 1968-1988” is engraved on the top plate and unique numbers from 20-01 to 20-43 engraved below the LHSA logo. The 20 refers to the 20th anniversary. This top plate is engraved with 20-00. This Leica top plate was purchased from DAG Camera (CA, USA) for a personal customization project but never used or fitted onto an M6 with any hardware.
