Description: Rare one of a kind antique French clock of a women statue set in bronze patina. This swinger mystery clock, circa 1905, was made by the Moreau brothers. The statue is signed, 'L & F Moreau' adjacent to embossed award stamp. L.&.F. Moreau were two brothers who were renowned for creating highly ornate clocks and garniture sets in both bronze and spelter. This clock has an 8 day movement stamped SEFIA on the back plate & numbered 5442. The fiqure is holding the pendulum in her right hand and rests on a faux marble base. A minor repair has been made between the hand and swinger arm. Winding key included. Starts and stops.
