No Chinese aftermarket pieces. Linhof prices are admittedly crazy but their quality and workmanship is second to none and should last a lifetime. Please note that one minor issue is that the little tab for cocking the Schneider lens is missing. One can still cock the shutter with no problem. I think Schneider would fix that at no charge as I believe it was a slip up on their part. Nothing was abused. One great feature of the latest M679cs model is that the integral pan tilt base does all movements. You will not need an Arca Swiss Cube with this camera, saving you almost $2000. The entire camera functions beautifully. All adjustment dials move smoothly and with a high precision feel. The machining of all parts are just out of this world. Linhof really knows how to design and build this masterpiece. Add your own Phase One IQ 150 and you won't believe how good high resolution can be. We purchased two of these systems three years ago for use in our commercial studio. One was sold and this last setup was our backup and used only a few times. It truly is like new and if one adds up the cost today of the camera with the hard to find accessories from B&H you'll spend over $20,000!
