The shutter count on the camera screen reads 600 (See photo). I used this camera for only a couple of months. This is a fantastic camera for the price. It is a sophisticated professional camera all in a light, small body. It shoots both stills and movies and the quality is first-rate. The camera takes 24.3 Mega Pixel images and in RAW mode it will create a 48MG RAF file. One can also shoot in JPG, which naturally creates a smaller file.
