Description: 1971 Mustang was green-lighted by Ford's new president, Semon "Bunkie" Knudsen, formerly of General Motors. Again, the revised model grew in size, gaining 3 inches in width to accommodate Ford's big block 429 cu in V8 without need for an extensive suspension redesign. As before there were three body styles offered: Hardtop, Sportsroof, and convertible. This die cast metal with plastic parts model from Motor Max has opening doors and hood to show off the details inside. Inspection did reveal that there are some scratches and markings in the paint on the roof and trunk area. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the listing description to see any flaws or damages that we may have missed to list in the description. We are also collectors of die cast vehicles, and we pride ourselves on being honest sellers and making known any problems or flaws with our auction items that we caught when inspecting prior to listing. Being SOLD AS IS!!! Most of our items come from local Estate Sales, Auctions, Flea Markets and Yard Sales. Items are in used, pre-owned and/or vintage condition and can show evidence of wear and age such as light scratches, scuffs, surface rust and dents/dings commensurate with its age and use. For example, we do not know if the items may have been exposed to smoking, pets, or other allergens. Our items are lightly cleaned/dusted but may need a good cleaning or polishing if so desired.
