Description: Very nice 18th / early 19th century brass finger loop chamberstick attached with rivets; C 1790-1810. The candle socket attaches by means of a flange and nut underneath. It is in very good condition but there is a small dent near the handle attachment with a 1/4 inch crack in the brass right on the folded seam (see photo). No other damage. The slide mechanism works well though the knob is a bit loose. It sits flat and straight. 4 1/8 inches tall6 1/4 inches handle to edge5 inches diameter
