I started off with a pack on a budget from Amazon because I did not want to “waste” money. I hit my first major peak with the budget backpack and my shoulders were obliterated by the time I reached the peak. Little did I know that I wish I would have invested off the bat with this backpack. After months and multiple peak summits, mountaineering trips, and backpacking trips this pack is my go too.
