Description: "One of the Survivors" is an 18 page, 5.5"x8.5" softcover written and published by Richard Taylor in 1982. In it he (briefly) shares the story of how he transformed from a clean-cut Texas teenager to a lowlife drug addict and dealer in the mid-1970s, finally being shot and dumped by the side of the road in McAlester, OK in 1974. He survived and eventually became a Christian minister, prompting him to write this booklet. He also writes about his old friends and fellow addicts/criminals, and how they all ended up (not good). There are a few black-and-white photos. The book is in very good condition, with rubbing and a few small spots to the cover.
