Description: >Offered here is a high-grade, old and original 1959 Oregon State College Beavers football fold-out schedule-poster!! Please see all six photos, as they are an important part of my description. This very rare vintage schedule measures approximately 15" x 11" and features great graphics and color, plus outstanding artwork of an Oregon State Beavers mascot grasping an over-sized football! This Pacific Coast Conference poster was to be utilized at a place of business (as the instructions state), to promote sales for the games. The poster-schedule could also have been originally mailed (it never was!); when fully folded (as issued), the poster acts like a "mailer", complete with a return address. Oregon State College eventually came to be known as Oregon State University. The full Oregon State Beavers schedule of games is listed, with all home games played in Corvallis, Oregon. Games for O.S.C. included: USC Trojans, Idaho Vandals, Washington State College, Stanford Indians, Texas Tech, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Michigan Wolverines, California Bears, Washington Huskies and Oregon Ducks. There's also a listing of "Convenient Beaver Ticket Agencies" along right edge of poster-sked, including city of Corvallis as well as other Oregon towns/cities such as Medford, Portland, Lebanon, Albany, etc. <>Condition: in *Stellar Shape* overall, with barely any age/handling faults....a real beauty!!
