Description: Original WWII Imperial Japanese Army Large Leather Map Case This is an original map case issued by the Imperial Japanese Army. The case is made of leather, with IJA "star insignia" stitched on the cover. This is one the largest map case issued by the IJA: About 6*12 inch (pencil in picture for size comparison) Overall condition is good with some minor cracks on leather and one hole on the bottom right corner. There are likely some inscriptions inside the case, but was unfortunately painted over by original period owner (likely to avoid leaking confidential unit name)I am an individual collector who occasionally sells some of my inventory to make room for new collections.
