Description: This is 1 fancy SOLID BRASS coin slot, which was minted in the United States. They make a wonderful finishing touch for the slot on the top of a Post Office lock box door coin bank. The detail is of excellent quality. The overall dimensions are: 2 7/16" long x 1 11/16" high x 1/8" thick. The actual coin slot is: 1 1/4" long x 1/8" high. The wording on the coin slot is: AN ORIGINAL U.S. POST OFFICE LOCK BOX DOOR. There is an Eagle, a shield, 7 small stars and 2 large stars and olive branches on the face of the coin slot. Included with the slot are 2 brass escutcheon pins which are used to attach the coin slot to the coin bank. The escutcheon pins are inserted in each of the 2 large stars. The finish WILL NOT tarnish.
