Schiffer 1999 etched into the Lucite on the back. Measures approx. 3 1/4" Tall x 3 1/4" Wide. One of a Kind Beautiful piece!!!Note: that this is an Artisian piece and is in excellent shape and design to his pieces, as it is originally that way, and on the edges, some of the stones hang slightly over the Lucite and this is due to the artesian and not from wear. Also, note that due to the glue that was used some of the crystals may or may not have foil damage due to age. Also, due to it being an artesian piece as well. This is classic for this designer. I try and note with pictures and descriptions of any problems that I may see. Note about the artist:Born in New York, Bill Schiffer rose to prominence as a painter and sculptor in the early 1980’s. Though he still works in many two dimensional and three-dimensional art mediums, Schiffer is most well-known for his unique handcrafted jewelry, which he started designing after a foray experimenting with wearable art in the fashion scene. Bill Schiffer’s art and jewelry has been shown in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, as well as major museums in Italy, Japan, Germany and the United States.
